collisionchaos virtues
and pretty little emo boys
fixated on lollipops and snowcones
cover my skin with revenga
and cinnamon sticks

chemicals can't get everything clean
thoughts are still blackened
by sitting on the back burner
for too long

this is my world
black and white
just like the photographs Miss Rivera

and being tonguetied only means
you're too scared to take two
shots to the head in a
moment of purity

This was...fascinating. I loved the way you manipulated the words, an interesting and unique style of writing which is a little like Pete Doherty at his best, if you'll let me say so (and coming from me, that's quite a compliment). I also loved the fact that you can break the poem down and realise that, as separate words and lines, it doesn't make much sense, but all together it just creates some sort of mental image.

Words that are... just odd. Good stuff though. Somewhat appealing though I don't understand the big picture of it all.

I didn't understand it...especially the first word but I loved the imagery and word usage. The part about the pretty little emo boys was good even though it's becoming a little overrated. I love this poem...it would make a good Death Cab for Cutie song.
